Private Group VisitsWe offer private group bookings for groups of 10-35 people.Thursday’s 10:30-12pm & Friday’s 1:30-3pm*Contact info@belltrust.co.uk or telephone 01509 638 500 to book a trip for your U3A, history society, club or group today.Ticket prices are the same as shown on ‘Taylor’s Bellfoundry Tours’ above**.We cannot guarantee that a casting will take place on the day of your visit, but there is always plenty to see and enjoy!*On Friday’s the Taylor’s staff work half day, so the workforce will not be around during afternoon tours.**Ticket prices will be changing from Jan 2025.Suitably qualified teams of bellringers can book the Taylor’s Belltower in addition to their tour by prior arrangement. |

The Loughborough Bellfoundry Museum is located within the historic John Taylor Bellfoundry site at the following address:

GETTING HERE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The nearest railway station is Loughborough, which is 0.5 miles (an 11 minute walk) away. Taxis are available at the station.
We are just 0.5 miles (or a ten minute walk) from the Great Central Railway Loughborough terminus.
It is 0.7 miles (a thirteen minute walk) to Queen’s Park in Loughborough town centre. The park is home to the Charnwood Museum and the Loughborough Carillon Tower and War Memorial Museum.
Please be aware there is a pub called the Bellfoundry and can therefore cause confusion, we advise visitors use our postcode or street name to best find us on a satnav.
Taylor’s is located in a residential area, so there is a limited amount of free on-street parking around the bellfoundry site. Free parking is typically available on the surrounding streets. We are within easy walking distance of the town centre. Follow the guidance above if you are coming via public transport.
Coach operators should contact us direct to arrange drop off and collection.
There is a lift offering step-free access to the casting hall viewing platform for wheelchair users, pushchairs and those with limited mobility.
Wheelchair users are welcome on foundry tours and in the museum, but we regret that mobility scooters are not permitted indoors.
Assistance dogs are welcome onsite, but no other animals are permitted. Please let us know ahead of time if you will be accompanied by a service animal on your visit.
Note that bellfoundry tours typically entail 90 minutes of walking, so this may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

As a working industrial site, to access the foundry floor visitors must wear flat, completely closed shoes. We recommend that you avoid loose clothing and wrap up warmly in colder weather.
Our pop-up shop is currently open before and after tours, offering a selection of bellfoundry exclusive merchandise.
The full foundry works tour is only suitable for children aged 9+.
